TRIBE ALTERNATIVE
STAGE SCHOOL:
WEEKLY SESSIONS
SEASONAL: RUNNING APRIL to NOVEMBER
WEDNESDAYS, 4.30-6.30pm
What might you discover if you had a creative space to come to each week, deep in a semi-ancient woodland? Two hours just to BE; with the changing seasons, with new friends, with the power of your amazing imagination.
What might grow out of this (muddy damp) soil? What might you learn about yourself?
Join us in our magical outdoor space to create music, characters, stories and worlds and discover what truly inspires you.
Kate and Yas are experienced facilitators who love to work with human brains. What makes us want to stomp and rant?! What does joy feel like? What does it really mean to be brave? Is the word ‘failure’ even useful?
Using creative and physical games, child-friendly mindfulness and skill-building in music, movement, acting, storytelling, visual art, poetry, active listening and teamwork we learn what makes us tick, how to collaborate and how to celebrate our similarities AND our differences without fear or judgement.
ONE AND TWO DAY HOLIDAY ADVENTURES
Whole day adventures to get off your screens and create alternate universes deep in the woods.
Using fun creative games, work together to invent stories, construct characters and make music together leading to your very own immersive performance. Guide your adults around a world that you have created in whatever way you choose! This is very much a ‘challenge by choice’ space- there is never any pressure to ‘perform’- we work as a team in a fully supportive, non-competitive way. Plus we always make time for plenty of relaxing by the campfire (with a tasty hot chocolate of course…)
Story Tribe
Interactive storytelling performances and workshops
Breaking the barriers of traditional
theatre, we provide interactive family
storytelling in theatres and community spaces, and devise multidisciplinary immersive outdoor performances with young people both in a woodland hub near Eastleigh, and with bespoke outreach projects. We believe in the power of the collective imagination and that everyone has a creative voice to be heard.
