Volunteers are absolutely integral for our sessions to run smoothly so we would love to hear from you if any of the below feels exciting! We have lots of different opportunities from helping us to get the young people to our sessions to getting stuck in on the day.

We are currently looking for a few specific roles:

  • Transport Support - (Southampton / Eastleigh based)

Holiday full day  sessions 08:15 - 09:30 / 16:30 - 17:45 (3rd June / 7th & 8th August / 25th Oct) &

Weekly sessions, Wednesdays  15:15 -19:45 (7th June - 19th July / 6th September - 11th October):

  • We are in real need for a volunteer to be a warm and friendly face for the young people on their journey to and from our sessions in the woods. Your role would be to join the young people in the transport vehicle, support them, chat and help them to feel safe. This would be great for anyone wanting to gain experience with young people / to enjoy the beauty of young minds by spending an hour creating imaginary worlds with them. - We are also looking for volunteers to join our sessions - see below for more info on this.

  • If you have a large vehicle and could volunteer your vehicle and your time we would love to hear from you. We really want to support young people to be able to attend our session whatever their financial and transport circumstances. Sadly taxi companies are hugely expensive which does not allow for us to accommodate for many young people seeking transport support. Your fuel and money towards the use of your vehicle would be covered.

  • Volunteer in our sessions:

Holiday full day  sessions 08:30 - 17:00 (3rd June / 7th & 8th August / 25th Oct) &

Weekly sessions, Wednesdays  16:30-18:30 (7th June - 19th July / 6th September - 11th October):

 - We have a variety of needs in both our holiday and weekly sessions - Times and dates listed above.

  • If you would like to get out in nature, tend to a fire, make teas, be a buddy for a child who needs someone to look out for them and do other important practical jobs while supporting young people then this is for you!

  • This is also for you if you want to get more involved in the session and support young people on their creative journey. We use a range of creative ways in from improvised singing to theatre, nature connection and time for self expression. This is a playful and inclusive space where we really learn into discussing how things felt for us all, focus on collaborative creating and the way in which we express ourselves in this ever changing world.
